The Sacramento Valley Boxer Club (SVBC) was started before 1985 with a small group of boxer lovers meeting monthly in each other's living rooms. It took several
years to hold our first sanctioned matches and with a great deal of work and pride, we finally held our first
AKC point specialty show in conjunction with the 1995 American Boxer Club Regional in Pleasanton, California.

Currently, the SVBC holds one Specialty Show, Sweepstakes & Obedience Trial each April and one
AKC Sanctioned B/OB match each summer/fall.

The Sacramento Valley Boxer Club holds
Canine Good Citizenship (CGC) testing.
